Gerety Awards has announced the final deadline for the awards. Award submissions will remain open for entries till 15 May, 2026.
The award submissions will be judged by more than 260 judges across more than 50 countries with executive jury sessions for judging being held across selected creative hubs across the globe.
In addition to the extended deadline, Gerety has also introduced two new initiatives that will take place preceding the judging as well as after the jury sessions for the awards. Both initiatives are part of Gerety’s efforts to extend the sessions beyond the judging room. These initiatives have been built with the aim of creating a space to share perspectives and discuss and debate the work and conversations that are shaping the 2026 shortlist.
The first initiative introduced is a series of jury insight panels that will take place in the time frame leading up to the judging. Featuring members of the executive jury, the panels will be conducted in collaboration with advertising trade press and associations and will touch upon the topic of themes and trends in the work as well as the standards that are being applied, along with how creative excellent is developing across the industry.
The second initiative will be rolled out following the executive jury sessions that are responsible for shortlisting the entries for the awards. Gerety will create 30-minute curation of the highest-scoring work will be created. The reel will then be shared with more than 1000 industry leaders across 70 countries as part of its global screening initiative. As part of its aim to expand access to work, the reel will be screened internally across agencies and companies to offer an early indicator of the work that will define the awards season for the year.
“Gerety has always been about offering a powerful perspective on what makes work truly resonate,” said Lucía Ongay, Co-Founder of the Gerety Awards. “By opening up access through conversations and screenings, we are inviting more of the industry into that perspective — not just to see the work, but to engage with it.”
The final winners will be determined by Gerety Awards’ Grand Jury who will judge and choose from the shortlists.
