GymNation goes ‘weightless’ for World Mental Health Day

GymNation removes all the weights from selected locations and offers the public 'mental fitness' classes in collaboration with Sage Clinics.

GymNation has removed all the weights from selected locations across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, bringing awareness to World Mental Health Day.

The aim is to create meaningful talkability around mental health. The fitness hub wanted to use its platform and large member base to spark real conversations about mental wellbeing, demonstrating that the brand stands for more than just physical fitness.

“The only weight we want people to lift on the 10th October, is the weight off their mind,” said Rory McEntee, CMO at GymNation.

He explained that the campaign’s inspiration draws from research that revealed that almost 60 per cent of the population in the UAE and 40 per cent of young adults
