With the final deadline for the 2026 Gerety Awards completed on May 15, the spotlight is now turning to the ideas that will define the year — both globally and within the creative community.

As part of the lead-up to judging, Gerety Awards is hosting a Jury Insight Panel in Dubai, bringing together members of the 2026 executive jury to share perspectives on creativity, emerging trends and what it takes for work to stand out at this year’s awards.

This is your last chance to book tickets to the first-ever Campaign Breakfast Briefing: Retail & Commerce Media on Friday, 22 May. Get yours now for actionable strategy on enhancing ROI for retail and commerce media in the region.

The session forms part of Gerety’s wider global programme, connecting local industry conversations with an international judging process that includes more than 260 jurors from more than 50 countries, meeting across 15 cities worldwide.

Moderated by Anup Oommen, Editor, Campaign Middle East, the Dubai panel will feature:

  • Vidya Manmohan, Founder & Creative Chairwoman, V4GOOD
  • Theodora Gabrah, Senior Manager, Corporate Communication, Emirates Global Aluminium
  • Oyinade Osobajo, Head – Commercial Banking, Optimus Bank Limited
  • Marisa Lawson, Head of Growth, Publicis Groupe Middle East

“Gerety is about recognising work that resonates from a powerful perspective,” said Lucía Ongay, Co-Founder of the Gerety Awards. “We’re excited to see the work that will not only stand out, but spark conversations across the global creative community.”

These panels offer an opportunity to hear directly from the voices shaping the shortlist — right after the executive jury sessions taking place in early June.

The creative discussion will be taken beyond the jury room following the judging, with the highest-scoring work being featured in the Gerety Shortlist Showcase — a curated 30-minute film shared with over 1,400 past and present jury members  across more than 60 countries.

The reel is widely circulated among senior creative leaders and their teams, creating a collective moment where the industry engages with the work shaping the year.
