Geometry Global, WPP’s end-to-end Creative Commerce agency, has announced the appointment of Katie Streten to head up its experiential offering as Head of Strategy for Middle East & North Africa. Joining the team, Katie is tasked with driving experiential strategy, bringing her unique skillset considering how brands can drive deeper connections and commerce opportunities with their audience through the development of truly engaging, brand experiences that create a lasting impact. The appointment reinforces the agency’s role as the regional experiential powerhouse of WPP as it accelerates growth across the Middle East & North Africa.

Prior to becoming a part of the Geometry team, Katie was the Global Head of Strategy for the Ford account at Imagination, a global large-scale, experience company based in the UK, and was also responsible for driving consumer insight and trends agenda across the agency. Katie has been working in online content and experiences for over 20 years and her experience includes museums and art galleries, publishing companies, TV companies and more. With an incredibly diverse portfolio ranging from stunts, events and launches as well as brand homes and product strategies, to online communities, massive projection mapping, VR/AR engagement and UX strategy, throughout her career Katie has worked on award-winning teams, receiving recognition from bodies such as BAFTA, OMMA, IVCA, the Ex Awards and The Drum. With a passion for public speaking, Katie has presented at SXSW and was one of the founding members of Speaking Out, a UK non-profit dedicated to mentoring and training those who find public speaking intimidating and difficult. Katie is now bringing her unrivalled experience and expertise in the realm of online content and experiences to Geometry’s experiential offerings.
