Marion Bartoli, the former Wimbledon champion, has joined global sports marketing consultancy Leverage Marketing Advisors (LMA).

The French star, who famously won the 2013 Wimbledon title without dropping a set the entire tournament, will bring insights and experience from operating at the highest level of professional sport. She will support LMA’s ambitious business development plans, playing a pivotal role in forging new partnerships and working on behalf of rights holders such as the Australian Open and other prestigious properties.

Bartoli, who won eight Women’s Tennis Association singles and three doubles titles, will be based in Dubai.
