Dejavu network has undergone a significant structural facelift, amidst its ongoing upward boom. In its biggest congratulatory move, the Dejavu network has handed over the baton of group CEO to its long-time, former member Pratixa Kanojia.
Pratixa will be operating in a dual role as group CEO, spearheading the 12 media centric affiliates within the network and as the co-founder of The Plot Pictures, the latest entity joining this network, along with Manasvi Gosalia, founder of Dejavu Dubai.
As the UAE’s first independent motion films studio, the sole focus at The Plot Pictures is to develop original IP and honing hyperlocal stories for an international audience, providing a global distribution platform from within the MENA region.
Previously as head of production at Dejavu and then as the MENA head of integrated production at craft Worldwide, Kanojia brings with more than 15 years of 360° campaign creation and mainstream film biz experience plus a sound acquaintance with the group’s operations and clients.
At a group level, she will be teaming with the heads of each entity to consolidate their individual offerings into one centralised platform. The focus will be to realign the group and develop a comprehensive bouquet of services, powered through smart-tech and agile operations through offices in UAE, KSA, Lebanon and India.
“This is very much a homecoming for me,” said Kanojia. “There is a clear purpose and a shift of focus within the network to grow our base in development of original IPs, which is what brought me back, in addition to the exciting plans we have laid out for the future.”
