FP7/DXB has won the brief to relaunch Dubai-based gold and jewellery company Damas’ Farfasha brand.
A number of agencies had pitched for the business, with the relaunch campaign expected to roll out by the end of the third quarter of this year.
Dhanji Dedhia, marketing director at Damas, said the pitch process had lasted more than six weeks, during which time the company evaluated presentations and the creative routes of the different agencies on the basis of category understanding, brand fit, overall conceptualisation and creative
excellence. “In general, the quality of the submissions was extremely competitive,” said Dedhia. “The Damas team was, however, particularly impressed with the overall agency approach, strength of creative route and strategic vision presented by FP7/DXB, and we are confident that this strong agency fit will push Farfasha to the next level.”
Farfasha, which is Damas’ most popular brand, is a collection of contemporary and affordable jewellery that targets the youth market. Damas operates 400 stores worldwide.
Sasan Saeidi, the newly promoted managing director of FP7 UAE, said: “We are excited to be partnering with a great brand such as Damas on this fantastic project and we look forward to being the extension of their marketing team for Farfasha and beyond.”
