The Creative Media Authority (CMA) has entered a strategic partnership with Scenario Production House, founded by celebrated Arab actor and director Abed Fahed. The agreement brings one of the region’s most respected creative voices into Abu Dhabi’s growing media ecosystem and signals a bold new chapter for Arabic language content creation from Abu Dhabi.

The partnership will see Scenario Production House produce at least one major production annually in Abu Dhabi, leveraging the emirate’s state of the art infrastructure and talent pool. Each production will commit to hiring a minimum of 50 percent Abu Dhabi based licensed freelancers ensuring direct investment in the local creative economy.

Under the agreement, Abed Fahed will also play a mentorship role, offering workshops and long-term knowledge sharing programmes to support the next generation of creatives.

“Abed Fahed is not only a household name in Arabic entertainment, but a visionary who understands the transformative power of storytelling,” said Mohamed Dobay, Acting Director General of the Creative Media Authority.

“This partnership reflects our broader ambition to position Abu Dhabi as the beating heart of Arabic content creation, where established icons and emerging voices come together to shape the future of media in the region.”

These efforts will build sustainable talent pipelines across acting, directing and production, reinforcing CMA’s commitment to empowering local storytellers.

“This collaboration with Scenario Production House represents more than just content output, it is about legacy,” said Khalid Khouri, Director – Industry Development at Creative Media Authority. “Abed Fahed’s dual role as actor and director makes him uniquely positioned to mentor emerging talent and help grow a resilient, future facing media ecosystem rooted in Arabic cultural excellence.”

With a career spanning decades, Fahed brings distinguished legacy to the partnership. From award winning performances in Days of Rage, Al Hajjaj and Difficult Steps, to his directorial achievements in White Grey Black and White, Fahed has left an enduring mark on Arab television. His presence in Abu Dhabi cements the city’s role as a magnet for Arabic filmmakers.

“We are delighted to collaborate with the Creative Media Authority, which will provide us with all logistical services in Abu Dhabi, as part of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the position of Arabic content on the regional and global stage,” said Fahed, Founder of Scenario Production House.

“Through this partnership, Scenario Production House will deliver a series of cinematic and television productions that add significant value to the library of Arab art,” he added.

This partnership aims to underscore the Creative Media Authority’s commitment to ensuring the sustainable support of the Arabic content industry and to strengthening knowledge exchange between generations, by empowering local talent and bringing Arab narrative and drama to audiences worldwide.
