Coca-Cola is marking Kuwait National Day with the launch of a special limited-edition can, which celebrates the nation’s rich heritage, traditions and free spirit.
Kuwait National Day has been featured once again on the Coca-Cola cans. The striking design draws inspiration from Kuwait’s cultural roots, featuring traditional Sadu patterns that symbolise Bedouin craftsmanship and echo the country’s longstanding traditions.
The red, green, white and black of the Kuwaiti flag are woven into the design, creating a visual tribute that reflects national pride and sparks instant recognition.
Speaking about the launch of the cans, Manuel Burgos, Vice President & General Manager for Coca-Cola Middle East said, “Kuwait National Day has always been a moment of unity, when families, friends, and communities come together to celebrate what makes Kuwait special.”
Burgos added, “On this 65th National Day, we wanted to create a unique design to honor these moments and encourage everyone to share and enjoy this occasion together. In collaboration with our local bottling partner, we are proud to bring this design to life as part of our continued commitment to Kuwait and the communities we serve.”
Kuwait National Day, celebrated annually on 25 February, commemorates the country’s independence and is marked by nationwide festivities, family gatherings and public celebrations that reflect unity and national pride.
Coca-Cola’s limited-edition packaging aligns with this occasion, offering consumers a collectible design that blends heritage with a contemporary expression of celebration.
Khaled Jamal Abdulaziz, General Manager, Refreshment Trading Company, the local bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company said, “Every can of Coca-Cola enjoyed in Kuwait is proudly produced locally, and this limited-edition National Day design is no exception.”
Abdulaziz added, “This can reflects our longstanding presence in the country for more than 60 years. Marking this occasion with a locally produced design is our way of celebrating Kuwait’s heritage and the spirit of unity that defines this day.”
The Kuwait National Day special-edition Coca-Cola cans will be available for a limited time across Kuwait.
