Active DMC new team members

Active DMC has refreshed the agency with new talent.

To be an effective and relevant marketing consultancy, an agency needs to evolve, it needs to stay relevant and it needs to do that and be effective and focused too, says the team at Active DMC. The need for Active was to continue on the journey of evolution from a public relations consultancy to a fully-fledged marketing consultancy, offering digital services alongside traditional services. For Active DMC the current landscape it’s about content creation, packaging and distribution, it is about being targeted as well as relevant and it is about being able to achieve real results through measurable means.

“Covid provided us with a pause, a pause that we at Active DMC used to effectively refresh the Agency and the most essential part of that was – the people – to have a team that was fresh yet experienced, young yet responsible, passionate yet structured and combine that with new team members with wider skillsets to extend the range of services we offer now,” said Sawsan Ghanem Joint Managing Partner Active Digital Marketing Communications. So for us, this team has revitalized us and has made us even more dynamic and driven and we love that! Our Clients are too!

Active DMC has won three new clients, proving their point, in the last four weeks and is signing another starting November – all multinationals. Budgets have been increased across two existing clients due to the added services and there are three digital and social media focused clients.

The new team members are:

NAUF MAWLA – COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

Nauf is a bilingual (Fluent in both Arabic and English), experienced communications professional with over eight years of in-house and Agency experience driving diverse communication campaigns, developing and implementing online and offline media strategies and managing brands’ reputations.

Working with a range of clients in the corporate, government and technology sectors, as well as prominent local and regional law firms, Nauf has developed a range of strategic and targeted content. Her experience extends to the organization and management of numerous events, including seminars and media conferences for high profile events.

VARUN JOSHI – COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

For nearly a decade Varun has worked in various capacities in marketing and branding functions. The last seven of which were spent in PR firms servicing clients in the technology, healthcare and hospitality domains. He has a good understanding of brands, their life-cycle, growth and development. His strength lies in deciphering his client’s business objectives into creative and sustainable communications campaigns.

 

FARAH SAFI – DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Farah is a Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive at Active DMC with three years of experience in the industry. Farah has worked with renowned brands across corporate and consumer sectors and helped them to shape narrative amongst diverse stakeholders.

Farah is passionate about everything digital and is eager to add value to her clients’ campaigns and grow with them. Farah is a 2019 Digital Marketing graduate from Princess Sumaya University for Business Technology, certified in Digital Marketing and Social Media for business from SEO International and Google.

YASMINE KAYAL – COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Yasmine is a bilingual (Fluent in both Arabic and English), communications professional. Prior to joining Active, Yasmine was a PR Coordinator who helped with the development of overall communications strategies and PR campaigns for government sectors that focused on women’s economic empowerment in the country and the region. Yasmine has developed a range of targeted content including opinion pieces and news announcements in both English and Arabic. Her experience extends the co-ordination of numerous events which include media conferences and global summits.

REEM YOUSSEF – JUNIOR COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Reem is a Junior Communication Executive at Active DMC. Reem is a recent graduate from the American University of Sharjah, with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Marketing. Reem also studied in the United States as an exchange student at Washington State University, where she gained skills helpful to her personal as well as professional life. Reem has worked with renowned brands for two summer internships across both the Advertising and PR industries.
