Love him or hate him, InsuranceMarket.ae’s mascot Alfred will be the face of a new two-month long campaign.
Described as its ‘biggest ever tactical campaign’, it will offer more than AED 3 million in prizes “to make sure that everyone who buys insurance from Alfred is a winner”.
The ubiquitous Alfred is already well-known to residents of the UAE with his face plastered across thousands of billboards, and his voice frequently booming over radio stations.
The “WIN FOR SURE with Alfred” campaign aims to transform how UAE residents perceive insurance by offering them guaranteed prizes and a chance to win the grand prize – a 2024 Chevrolet Captiva.
“With insurance often seen as a necessity rather than an enjoyable investment, this campaign seeks to change that narrative by rewarding every policy purchase,” an InsuranceMarket.ae spokesman said.
Running from May 13th to July 12th, 2024, the top prize of a brand new Chevrolet Captiva is worth AED 95,000.
Partner brands offering prizes include Al Ghandi Auto, GymNation, Danube Home, The View at The Palm and The Palm Monorail, THE FACE SHOP and Wingstop.
Avinash Babur, the CEO of InsuranceMarket.ae, told Campaign Middle East to expect over 20,000 radio ads as part of the campaign in the next two months.
“While insurance is primarily about safeguarding one’s future, this campaign transforms it into a memorable experience combining excitement and security,” he said.
