adidas has unveiled the official away kits for all 25 partner federations, including 13 nations who are qualified for FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Making its return to federation kits for the first time in 36 years, the adidas Trefoil – the brand’s symbol of originality – appears on the chest of each jersey, paying tribute to the football culture of the 1990s while reimagining the design for today’s game.
Among them are regional representatives Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Algeria, who will carry the pride of the Middle East and North Africa onto football’s biggest stage, while the UAE will wear the new away kit throughout the 2026 international season.
Bilal Fares, General Manager, adidas EMC, said, “The return of the Trefoil to the FIFA World Cup™ stage marks a significant moment for adidas and for football culture globally. This collection celebrates the heritage of the game while reflecting the identity and pride of each nation competing on football’s biggest stage.”

Fares added, “For the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, seeing Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Algeria represent the region is a prideful moment, and these jerseys are designed to connect players and fans through performance, culture and a shared passion for the game.”
Drawing inspiration from the unique culture and landscapes of each nation, the new away jerseys reinterpret classic adidas FIFA World Cup™ aesthetics with modern design cues. Elements inspired by rocky deserts, sand dunes and traditional garments are blended with contemporary silhouettes to create kits that resonate with both athletes and fans.
Each jersey is finished with adidas’ signature three stripes along the shoulders, applied with a herringbone stitching technique that enhances breathability and ventilation during play.
Design overview of select nations:
Saudi Arabia Away
Saudi Arabia’s away kit features a bespoke weave pattern often found on various traditional garments, against a pearlescent white base – capturing the vibrant essence of Saudi fashion.

The logo and crest are finished in a royal gold detailing, while the neckline and number is subtly highlighted in the nation’s deep green. The Saudi Arabian emblem, depicting a palm tree and crossed swords, is printed on the back as a nod to heritage and identity.
Qatar Away
An abstract grey wave-like graphic transcends Qatar’s away jersey.

Inspired by the desert sand dunes, the pattern takes on the geometry and shapes seen across the breathtaking landscape. “Qatar” is etched in Arabic across the back of the neck, as a symbol of national pride and unity.
Algeria Away
Inspired by the vibrant colours of the rocky deserts and lush oases found across Algeria, the away jersey features interspersed vertical green stripes set against a striking deep green, reflective of the country’s unique landscapes and traditional palette.

“ALGERIA” is proudly inscribed in Arabic across the back of the neck, connecting the team to their homeland, on their World Cup journey.
UAE Away
The United Arab Emirates away jersey draw’s inspiration from the Federation’s logo mark. Set on a deep red base, the kit showcases a striking look with an all-over lighter red graphic, accented by crisp white trims.
The geometric pattern takes its visual cues from the shield shapes found on the logo, embodying the spirit of the team. The nation’s flag adorns the back of the neck, serving as a proud finishing detail.

Designed for performance at the highest level, the jerseys incorporate adidas’ latest CLIMACOOL+ technology, engineered to manage heat and moisture during high-intensity matches in warm conditions.
Body-mapped 3D engineered stretch fabrics help wick sweat faster and keep players cooler for longer, while lightweight jacquard construction allows for greater freedom of movement on the pitch.
As part of the global launch, adidas also hosted a cultural celebration in Los Angeles, bringing together athletes, creators and figures from football, music and street culture to mark the return of the Trefoil to the FIFA World Cup™ stage.
The event transformed Downtown LA’s Lower Grand Tunnel into a street-style celebration of football culture, featuring performances from Kaytranada and Baby Keem, and highlighting the intersection of football, fashion and music that continues to shape the global game.
The full range of adidas federation away jerseys will be available from Friday 20 March, 10am CET via adidas.com and select retail stores.
