Behind the scenes at Vertigo
Vertigo Films was founded in December 2021 by Adnan Sharawi and Rawad El Hachem, two passionate filmmakers with extensive industry experience. Their shared love for storytelling and filmmaking led them to create Vertigo Films, where they combine their talents to produce high-quality content and films.
Adnan, with a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production, brings over a decade of experience in cinematography, directing, producing, and editing. Drawing inspiration from everyday moments, he fuels his creativity, and Vertigo Films showcases his exceptional talent and vision.
Rawad began his journey as an independent filmmaker and later became head of production at a digital agency, where he honed his leadership skills while managing a team of filmmakers. With over 10 years of experience, his award-winning work has earned recognition across the region.
In September 2024, Maha Moussa joined as a partner. With her expertise from TikTok, where she shaped the production department, and Shahid, where she led creative pitches for long-form films, Maha brings a fresh perspective to the team.
