The initiative includes complimentary access to two core tools designed by Takumi AI that aim to generate footfall and bring customers back.

Takumi AI, an AI consultancy based in Dubai has launched Lift Local – a simple, practical initiative designed to help small businesses generate demand and reconnect with customers at a time when many homegrown businesses across the UAE are facing reduced footfall and rising operational pressures.

Built specifically for restaurants and SMEs navigating the current slowdown, Lift Local offers free, easy-to-use AI-powered tools that help businesses create effective offers and customer messaging in seconds – without requiring marketing expertise or additional spend.

“We’re a small business ourselves, and we’re seeing what many others are going through right now – quieter days, tighter margins and difficult decisions,” said Mohit Lodha, Founder of Takumi AI.

The initiative includes two core tools:

  • Lift Boost: to generate high-converting offers designed to drive footfall
  • Lift Messages: to create ready-to-send WhatsApp messages that bring customers back

Rather than adding more layers of marketing complexity, Lift Local focuses on what matters most in the current environment: Creating better offers, communicating more effectively with existing customers and taking immediate action without additional cost.

The tools are designed to work within minutes, requiring only basic inputs to generate usable outputs that businesses can deploy instantly across their own channels.

“We didn’t want to overthink it. We asked a simple question: what can we build, quickly, that actually helps,” said Lodha.

“Lift Local is our way of contributing in a small but practical way – giving businesses something they can use immediately to bring customers back,” he added.

As conversations around supporting local businesses continue to gain momentum across the UAE, Takumi AI hopes Lift Local can play a small role in enabling that support to translate into real business outcomes.

“There’s a strong sentiment right now around backing local businesses, which is encouraging,” Lodha added. “But beyond sentiment, businesses need simple ways to act – to generate demand, not just awareness. If this initiative helps even a few businesses see more customers walk through their doors, it’s done its job.”

Both tools are accessible, entirely free of cost, via Takumi AI’s website.
