SMC and Evolution partnership brings in-game ads to the region

Saudi-based media company, SMC has announced a partnership with gaming content and activations company Evolution Group to provide brands opportunities to advertise with in-game advertising in the GCC region.

The collaboration with Evolution Group will allow SMC to sell ads that appear within games, opening a new and “highly engaging” channel to reach audiences.

SMC and Evolution Group will offer a suite of premium in-game video, audio, and interactive brand experiences.

In-app advertising solutions are designed to integrate brands into gaming environments in an immersive and non-disruptive format while engaging with players.

Advertisers will benefit from a new option that taps into the dynamic and rapidly expanding gaming community, ensuring their messages resonate with a highly engaged audience.

According to SMC, the partnership is in agreement with its mission to provide advertising solutions across diverse channels.

SMC joins the many companies that investing in the rapidly-rising gaming industry, especially in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is currently in the limelight when it comes to the gaming industry in the region. Not only has the PIF, the government’s investment arm, made heavy investments in sector, but the country is also hosting the inaugural edition of the Esports World Cup this year.
