Known for its cinematic and dramatised sports trailers, Riyadh Season has released yet another trailer – this time for the boxing rematch between boxing professionals Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
Obsession, as the film is aptly titled, portrays the mutual fixation between the two boxers in a surreal and comedic manner, aiming to capture the rivalry between two of the sport’s greatest heavyweights.
Set to Kylie Minogue’s iconic Can’t Get You Out of My Head, the trailer features playful scenes that highlight their rivalry. Fury envisions Usyk everywhere – even his family humorously transforms into Usyks – while Usyk imagines Fury in unexpected places, including on a sausage, a cheeky nod to Fury’s infamous “sausage” taunts.
Conceptualised by BigTime Creative Shop, the promo film was directed by the renowned French collective Megaforce and produced by Riff Raff Films.
The promo follows on from the first clash between the fighters in May, where Usyk won the contest and was crowned the “first undisputed heavyweight champion of the 21st century”.

While Obsession isn’t a sequel to the first promo film of the first match, Ring of Fire, it carries forward the high-production value and cinematic tone synonymous with Riyadh Season’s campaigns.
BigTime Creative Shop, the creative arm of the General Entertainment Authority, has previously crafted several promo films for major sports events in Saudi Arabia. These include the IV Crown Showdown between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, the Riyadh Season Card Wembley Edition, and Call of the Kings, a tennis showdown featuring Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune, and Jannik Sinner.
The Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury rematch is set to take place on Saturday, December 21, at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.
