Publsh Group has appointed Fatema Ali as Director of Social Media, supporting the company’s expansion into a fully integrated media engine.

Ali enters the role with a distinguished track record. She has spent the last several years bridging the gap between communications and modern storytelling for an elite portfolio of clients, including Address Hotels, Abu Dhabi Terminals, Kempinski, and the Department of Culture and Tourism.

Prior to joining Publsh Group, she was instrumental in enhancing the digital presence of one of Dubai’s largest real estate groups. Under her leadership, the company’s podcast was built from the ground up, achieving over 80,000 listens and an unprecedented audience growth of 3,850 per cent within its first year.

She also led social strategy and creative direction for high level portfolios including BMW Motorrad Middle East and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Her expertise lies in managing complex, multi-account ecosystems and building scalable, repeatable systems that ensure excellence across a range of sectors, including real estate, hospitality, automotive, and lifestyle.

“Having worked across different high level industries and multi-brand portfolios, I’ve seen that what cuts through isn’t over-produced content, it’s clarity, context, and a real understanding of the audience,” said Fatema Ali.

She added, “There’s a misconception that authority needs to sound corporate. In reality, the brands that become most memorable are the ones that can balance both clarity and confidence. Not performative or trying to sound like a brand – just real, human communication.”

Kushal Desai, Managing Director and Co-founder of Publsh Group, said: “Fatema is a rare talent who understands that social media is no longer just a megaphone for PR, but the very heartbeat of a brand’s identity. Her appointment is central to our expansion goals and we look forward to reimagining how stories are told and experienced across the Middle East.”

The announcement comes at a time of significant momentum for Publsh Group, following the recent launch of ‘El Nas Lel Nas’ (Arabic for ‘People for People’). This community movement has attracted some of the UAE’s most prominent public figures to champion the small businesses at the country’s economic heart.
