The appointment is part of the company’s strategy to expand its presence across the MENA digital advertising landscape.
The move follows Platformance’s launch of a Cairo office last year and the establishment of a local team in the market. Through the partnership, Camel Ads will support Platformance’s activity across sectors including real estate, automotive, FMCG and retail.
Founded by Ahmed Madkour and Mahmoud Gamal, Camel Ads will bring their combined experience across digital strategy, media planning, performance marketing and investment optimisation together to represent Platformance’s outcome-based advertising offering in Egypt.
“Egypt is one of the most strategically important markets in the region. The digital advertising sector here is forecast to grow annually through to 2029, the advertiser base is sophisticated, and the digital economy is accelerating,” said Hamza Madi, General Manager of Emerging Markets and Solutions at Platformance.
He added: “Egypt sits at the centre of our regional strategy, and partnering with Camel Ads is how we meet the demand we are already seeing from Egyptian advertisers.”
Ahmed Madkour, Co-Founder of Camel Ads, said “Egyptian advertisers have been asking for accountability for some time. The Platformance model is built around exactly that, and combining it with our market experience gives us a way to deliver results clients can measure and act on.”
Meanwhile, Mahmoud Gamal said the partnership would support activity across different media models and audience touchpoints, “Our partnership with Platformance empowers a full-funnel ecosystem designed to cover all media models, enabling scalable growth, smarter monetisation, and seamless audience engagement across every touchpoint.”
The partnership is effective immediately, with both companies planning to scale activity across the Egyptian market.
