Horror Con 2025, one of the biggest horror events in the Middle East and the largest of its kind in Jeddah, has revealed its fully AI-powered video.

The video intended to reimagined how production challenges can be solved creatively. The concept, was dreamed up by Kick Off and executed in-house by Acquaint Communications.

Despite originally planned to be a full scale live production, Acquaint Communications reported that with the incredibly tight project timelines, wardrobe limitations and very unique cast and make up requirements, the project turned into the perfect “all AI candidate”.

With an entirely fresh workflow, the Acquaint Communications team began by building character profiles, defining visual identities and developing a new storyboard that stayed true to the initial concept while making it workable through AI tools.

“Maintaining character consistency was one of our biggest challenges”, Lulwa Al-Harbi, CEO of Acquaint Communications, said, “some scenes being removed and others requiring extensive refinement”.

She explained, “A single three-second shot, for example, took a full day to perfect, followed by further adjustments the next morning.”

The concept, which centred around “scaring the scary” was brought to life with the objective of promoting Horro Con in a fresh and engaging way and ultimately pushing footfall to the event.

The client reported that after the release of the video, the event was attended by approximately 80,000 with a focus on teenagers and young adults, This concluded another successful event in the Horror Con franchise.
