Nielsen announces the appointment of Christine Isshak as senior client partner

Following the recent announcement by the General Commission for AudioVisual, that the Media Ratings Company has commissioned Nielsen to build a TV Audience Measurement (TAM) service in KSA, Nielsen has announced the appointment of Christine Isshak, senior client partner for this project, and one of Campaign Magazines ‘Faces under 30” in 2019.

Nielsen, a global media measurement and insights company, will be expanding their regional footprint to deliver TV viewing data for audiences in Saudi, and for the first time, OTT streamed viewing audience data.  This is a significant step that will shape the broadcast landscape with transparent and industry-aligned statistics, fulfilling a key industry need for a complete view of TV audiences across all screens.

In joining Nielsen, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge from the demand side of the industry, after 5 years as a Planner with Omnicom Group, working across key accounts including Toyota, Lexus and IKEA under the Al Futtaim portfolio in the UAE, and Sanofi and Al Alali in Saudi.  “With her agency background, Christine will ensure we develop this initiative in alignment with industry needs”, says Sarah Messer, MD Nielsen MENA. “Understanding how the Planning community will use the TAM data to drive advertising decisions will ensure we create the right tools to empower all stakeholders.”

“I’m delighted to be working with Nielsen,” says Christine of her new appointment.  “This is an exciting time to join the team, to be part of building and delivering a project that is bringing gold-standard TV measurement technology as well as Nielsen’s international experience in measurement best-practice to the region.”
