HONOR positions itself as go-to phone for gamers

The technology brand officially launches new phone and announces partnership with world’s largest gaming festival

Global technology brand HONOR has announced its partnership as the official smartphone of the world’s largest esports and gaming festival, called Gamers 8.

The announcement comes as the brand launches its new HONOR 90 5G in the UAE market, which features an 200MP main camera and new AI technologies in videography.

Gamers 8 boasts a prize pool of $45 million from top brands and leaders from different industries.

As part of its further commitment to the gaming community, the HONOR Magic5 Pro became the 2023 official smartphone partner with PUBG Mobile, further solidifying its presence in the gaming industry.

On Tuesday it officially launched the new 90 5G phone under the theme of ‘HONOR Mission Impossible’, showcasing the brand’s dedication to AI technologies.

HONOR is expanding rapidly in the Middle East and saw shipment growth of 500 per cent in the first quarter, solidifying its increasing market share.

Wow factor

HONOR is keen to make a name for itself and has used the Magic5 Pro to captured the new Guinness World Records achievement of the highest between the legs slam dunk, thanks to its all-new AI motion sensing technology.

And as part of the launch of the 90 5G it aimed to create the world’s largest photo album, comprising images captured by users on the new phone model.

Attendees and smartphone enthusiasts were encouraged to capture their photos and share them, contributing to the creation of the world’s largest photo album.
