The YouGov Recommend Rankings 2024 were released this week. The rankings aim to inform marketers on what drives existing and potential customers to their products.
This objective was outlined as word-of-mouth marketing remains one of the top ways brand receive exposure around the world.
The results were based on YouGov BrandIndex’s positive recommend score, which measures the percentage of a brand’s customers who would recommend it to a friend or colleague. The top ten rankings were calculated between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024, using data collected from members of the public in markets around the globe every day.
Every brand’s performance was tracked daily against a range of metrics, and the recommend ranking measures the percentage of a brand’s customers who would recommend it to a friend or colleague. All brands were tracked for at least six months to be included in the rankings and at least 18 months for improvers. The scores are representative of the general population of adults 18 and older.
Saudia emerged as the leader in the YouGov Recommend Rankings 2024 in Saudi Arabia, achieving a recommend score of 90.8.

Tied for second and third place were Adidas and Neom, with Al Baik following next. Saudia was joined by two other airlines, Qatar Airways and Emirates, in sixth and seventh, respectively.

In the UAE, Emirates emerged as the leader, achieving a recommend score of 92.6.

iPhone secured second place, followed by Emaar in third. Almarai claimed fourth place, with Nike and adidas close behind in fifth and sixth.
Galaxy is positioned seventh and Singapore Airlines is ninth on the list. Luxury beauty brands Gucci Beauty and Dior Beauty secured eighth and tenth places, respectively.
