Low-cost carrier flydubai is in the process of reviewing its public relations account.
The Dubai-based airline has been with the incumbent Polaris for two years. It is understood that the pitch has been called in order to conduct a review of the market and to ensure that flydubai is receiving the best public relations support possible.
At present there are no details available of which agencies have been invited to participate in the review, although a decision on the successful agency is expected to be reached within the next four weeks.
The airline called an unorthodox creative pitch 12 months ago, when it invited agencies to send proposals via email and to take up no more than one side of A4 paper. No decision on this pitch has been announced to date.
flydubai operates from Dubai International Airport and was founded in March 2008 by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the chairman of Emirates Airline.
