Y&R Doha has named Flavio Zanni as its new creative director. With 14 years of experience and three continents under his belt, the former art director from Brazil will lead the Qatar office’s creative team in overseeing accounts for McDonald’s, Alfardan Group, Rayyan Mineral Water and Woqood.
Zanni has previously worked as a creative director in the Middle East-based offices of DDB, Leo Burnett and most recently Memac Ogilvy & Mather.
“Flavio is a talented, hands-on individual who leads his teams by example,” said Y&R Doha managing director Simon Sassine. “He has demonstrated consistent creative leadership during his stint in the region and is a passionate advocate of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. We are very excited to have him on board and I am confident that his creative insight and counsel will add great value to both our clients and the agency.”
During his career Zanni has developed multi-channel campaigns for Vodafone, McDonald’s, Samsung, General Motors, Saudi Telecom, P&G and Emaar.
