40 years of rewarding creativity
Entries are open for Loeries Africa Middle East 2018 and all work flighted up to 31 May is eligible. Brands and agencies are encouraged to enter their best work for the highest accolade awarded to the brand communication industry across Africa and the Middle East.
“This is the 40th year that the Loeries, a proudly not-for-profit company, has been rewarding creativity,” says Loeries CEO, Andrew Human. “In 2017 we attracted 3,000 entries and the Middle East did exceptionally well, winning 58 of the 319 Loeries awarded, including three of the five Grands Prix.”
The Loeries rewards the most innovative work across the advertising and brand communication industry, including areas like design, music videos, architecture, shared value, and service design. To mirror the constant changes across the media landscape, some categories have been revised. The entry system has also been updated to simplify the process and allow entrants more control over their submissions.
Loeries Creative Week, Africa and the Middle East’s biggest creative festival, that brings together the best minds from the brand communication industry, includes MasterClasses, the DStv Seminar of Creativity, a fringe festival and two nights of Award Shows, will be hosted in Durban, South Africa from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 August.
