FP7/BAH’s directory campaign for Batelco has won the agency two silver pencils at The One Show in New York.
The agency’s ‘hospital’ print execution took home the honours, while Y&R, which was named advertising agency and network of the year at the Dubai Lynx in March, walked away with a bronze for its ‘Zombieland’ work for Resident Evil 5.
Tarek Miknas, CEO of the FP7 Group, said: “It’s not about collecting more metal. As rewarding as that is, it’s about putting our region on the global map. We collected two pencils. One out of two in the newspaper category across the world, and one pencil out of five awarded for the magazine category across the globe. A big achievement would be an understatement. And I raise my hat to the Y&R team as well for the pencil they won for our region. As an industry, we’re ready to take on the world. And we’re just getting started.”
It has been a good year so far for FP7/BAH, which was named media agency of the year at the Dubai Lynx. Entries for this year’s One Show competitions were up 20 per cent on last year.
