Former Manchester United and Real Madrid football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who now plays for Saudi football club Al-Nassr FC, has been spotted in a new advertising campaign alongside his partner Georgina Rodríguez for AROYA Cruises, the Arabian cruise line owned by Cruise Saudi, a PIF-funded company.
The digital campaign has been launched on Cristiano Ronaldo’s and Georgina Rodríguez’s respective Instagram channels, in collaboration with AROYA Cruises, following a series of teasers. Using advanced CGI and visual storytelling, the campaign is a first-of-its-kind for AROYA Cruises, which launched in December 2024.
Commenting on participating in the advertisement, Ronaldo said, “Georgina and I are happy to feature in this campaign together and can’t wait to take our family on a cruise. We enjoy the Saudi lifestyle, and AROYA Cruises is intrinsically Arabian, from its design to its cuisine. Yalla, AROYA Cruises!”
Rodríguez added, “Working on this campaign was a lot of fun and we loved bringing AROYA Cruises to life in our home. As a mom, I love the kids offering onboard and I am sure families will have the best time on AROYA.”

In the film, the world-renowned footballer is seen at home planning the next holiday with his long-term partner. Rodríguez swipes through options on her phone before selecting AROYA Cruises.
The couple’s home then transforms into the luxurious AROYA ship, complete with sun lounges, branded kitchenware and a balcony with incredible views of the sea.
Ronaldo shows off his impressive football skills before the couple head out to the balcony to end the campaign with a call to action, saying “Yalla,” the colloquial Arabic term for “Let’s go”, which also happens to be the AROYA Cruises’ brand tagline.

Currently, its first and only ship in the fleet, AROYA, features 1,678 cabins, two swimming pools, 29 dining venues and a range of premium facilities, including a theatre, beauty salon and spa complete with salt and snow rooms.
