
Creative agency Among Equals has landed in Dubai, marking an ambitious step in the London-born agency’s growth story.
Among Equals was founded in 2020 by Emily Jeffrey-Barrett, an award-winning strategist, copywriter and creative director with a track record of building brands that stand out by being braver, bolder and more human.
Jeffrey-Barrett’s work has been recognised by D&AD, New York Festivals, Creative Review, Hong Kong GDA and The Drum. With a decade of experience in the region and with a family that now lives in Dubai, she’s leading the next chapter of the agency’s global growth by bringing Among Equals to the city.
“So many agencies in Dubai play it safe – chasing big accounts but falling back on the same old formula. We see an opportunity to bring a different kind of energy to the region. Our approach combines big agency thinking with a challenger mindset,” Jeffrey-Barrett said.

Among Equals’ Dubai branch will be led by Victoria Gleeson – an agency leader with global experience across London, Dubai, and Singapore. Her career spans top-tier agencies such as M&C Saatchi and Saatchi & Saatchi, where she’s driven creative growth for brands across MENA, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the US.
With a strong track record in behaviour change, brand strategy, and campaign leadership for clients such as Visa, Shell, and The Crown Estate, Gleeson brings deep regional knowledge and a proven ability to deliver work that moves people – and businesses – forward.
The move also reflects the global ambitions of the Among Equals client roster with brands such as BrewDog launching in Dubai in 2025, and FMCG challengers such as VITHIT and Dash already established in the region.
