As a senior marketing consultant, Zubair’s exceptional leadership and passion have greatly contributed to our marketing achievements. He joined us as a fresh graduate and quickly distinguished himself through his eagerness to learn and rapid growth. His pivotal role in restructuring our department and optimizing processes led to our first-place finish in the MEA Creative Effectiveness Rankings for the past 2 two consecutive years. Zubair’s strategic insights, creativity, and mentoring have been instrumental in driving our success and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

 

Career highlights

I graduated from the University of Cape Town. Currently serving as the Marketing Lead at McDonald’s KSA, I have spent the past four years working with an incredible team to strive towards transforming our brand into a culturally and personally relevant icon that builds lifelong fans. Our efforts have already shown significant results, as we have been ranked number one for the past two years in McDonald’s Creative Effectiveness MEA rankings. Additionally, we proudly won two MENA SMARTIES awards in 2021 for our Battle of the Flavors campaign, showcasing our commitment to creative excellence.

 

Guiding principles

I’m inspired by Michael Jordan’s relentless drive and unyielding desire to be the best, approaching each project with a determination to win. I aim to create campaigns that captivate and inspire, fueled by a love for creativity and the belief that anything is possible with enough heart and hustle.

Side hustle

I’m deeply passionate about staying current with food science and trends. There’s something about exploring consumer behavior and strategy that truly captivates me—I can’t get enough. When I’m not diving into that, you’ll find me immersed in the world of F1 and sim racing.
