Nominated by Samar Sidani, Associate Creative Designer, AKQA Dubai:
I’m writing in my capacity as Riccardo’s line manager to recommend him for Campaign’s Agency Faces to Watch in 2023. The face of the advertising industry is changing and drawing from other fields like high-end fashion and e-commerce, and Riccardo’s strong background in high-end fashion has been expanding the creative scope of our work as a team at AKQA Dubai, into a more informed and thoughtful space. He brings experience from international agencies in Milan and applies an outlook influenced by their conventions and philosophies to what we do at AKQA. He has a truly excellent understanding of what makes a brand cutting-edge, which allows him to deliver exceptional quality work. Riccardo consistently provides valuable inputs and has a remarkable talent for creating output that goes beyond, even with a concise or limited brief. His ability to take complex ideas and translate them into beautiful design and content pieces is impressive. His roster of clients include Dyson, Chalhoub Group, Saeco, where he’s constantly providing work that goes above and beyond the brief no matter what the ask, offering clients new ways to approach the growth of their communications, in new directions they had yet to think about. Overall, Riccardo’s passion, experience, and creativity make him an ideal candidate for Campaign’s 2023 Agency Faces to Watch as well as for the Master’s program in Digital Marketing, where he is sure to thrive.
