J. Walter Thompson Beirut has rolled out a campaign for Lebanese supermarket chain Bou Khalil seeking to encourage helping beggars after the company noticed that, despite the Lebanese people’s inane generosity, they were no longer helping them. The reason being that people didn’t believe their money was being used in a good way. So Bou Khalil asked J. Walter Thompson Beirut to find and provide a socially responsible solution. Hence ‘The Good Note’, a voucher worth LBP1,000 that can be handed to beggars instead of money and then be exchanged for the essentials they need.
