On Valentine’s day, Annahar issued the Bloodline Edition to send a message of love, remembrance and resistance. The ink used for printing the newspaper is mixed with samples of Lebanese true blood. This is a tribute to all the bloodshed throughout the fight for justice and an opportunity to ask the Lebanese people if “we still love our country” despite the current breakdown. It is also a crucial message of resistance: end the bleed.
Being up to speed in technology has never been so important. Join us for our Campaign Online Briefing | Adtech Strategies on February 22nd. Registration is free, spots are limited.
Lebanon is a bleeding country. Even Valentine’s day is stained with blood as the brutal assassination of Prime Minister Rafic Hariri happened on that same date. But this will not stop its people from expressing their love to their country even in the toughest of times.
Annahar is asking the people of Lebanon to use their online and printed platforms to express their undying love for their country and #endthebleed.
