In an exclusive event in Dubai last night, Hisense MEA announced its partnership with Real Madrid FC. The partnership sees Hisense join Real Madrid as a regional partner in Spain, Africa and the Middle East for the next three years.
The event was attended by Hisense MEA’s President, Jason Ou; Vice President, Ismail Al Hurani; Regional Marketing Director, Fazalur Rahman; and FIFA Legend Ambassador and former Real Madrid player Michel Salgado.
The partnership will encompass Real Madrid’s men’s and women’s first division teams in all championships, including the UEFA Champions League and the Supercopa de España which will be held in Saudi. With the new partnership, Hisense aims to bring fans in the region a deeper connection with the club.
As part of this collaboration, the two will launch a limited-edition co-branded 100-inch TV, designed to elevate the home viewing experience. The partnership will also introduce initiatives aimed at enriching fans’ engagement with the sport and its broader cultural context, leveraging Real Madrid’s global appeal and Hisense’s technological expertise.
Ou expressed his excitement over the announcement. “Partnering with Real Madrid, a club with a rich history and passionate fanbase, aligns perfectly with our strategy to connect with consumers through sports sponsorship and elevate the Hisense brand,” he said. “We look forward to providing MEA fans with engaging experiences and enhancing the football viewing experience through cutting-edge technology.”
In a speech at the event, Al Hurani said Hisense’s partnership with the Spanish football club is not just about “aligning ourselves [Hisense] with a world-class team,” but rather, “about giving our commitment to the sporting world and to our communities, offering a meaningful experience of joy, entertainment and inspiration.”
Al Hurani also stated that Hisense is currently in the process of developing initiatives that will strengthen the connection between Real Madrid and its fans in the Middle East and Africa.
