Red Sea campaign invites first visitors with video postcards


Red Sea, one of Saudi Arabia’s new developments, launched its latest campaign, inviting visitors to the destination. The campaign was launched by the destination’s tourism arm Visit Red Sea in collaboration with content studio and agency Beautiful Destinations.

The campaign is titled “Be The First”, inviting its audience to be among the first to experience it all.

The video in the campaign is reminiscent of a postcard, opening with “Where do you go when you can go anywhere?”.

It follows up with answers that walk the viewer through the different offerings of the Red Sea development, from its nature, luxurious offerings to its Saudi heritage.

The campaign was launched to highlight the fact that the region that was under development has now opened its doors for tourism.

The ad’s postcard-like visuals capture the allure of the Red Sea, including its recently opened beaches, coral reefs and desert landscapes.

The main target market for the destination is Saudi Arabia, positioning itself as secluded islands all “within the reach” of the country.

The campaign also subtly weaves in themes of sustainability and conservation, reminding viewers that their memorable travel experience is “fuelled by Sun-to-Earth energy, powering your entire surrounding.”

The campaign is produced and written by Beautiful Destinations. According to the creative content studio and agency, “The new campaign from The Red Sea reflects Saudi Arabia’s vision—not just of opening its doors for tourism, but of opening minds to the possibilities of a new kind of travel experience—one that honours and nurtures the environment while creating unforgettable moments.”
