PR Account Director – Corporate

House of Comms is a leading strategic integrated communications agency with a multicultural team, who come together to make incredible things happen.

We are looking for a fearless and insanely ambitious PR Account Director with proven experience working with corporate clients to head up this division for the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the UAE and GCC, including strong agency experience. They must be passionate about PR with the drive and ambition to lead their team in delivering outstanding results for their clients. Previous PR experience with finance, healthcare and government clients would be a plus.

Some key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Heading up all strategy and planning to achieve client objectives
• Managing clients and scopes of work with a consultative approach
• Directing the team to deliver best practice and out of the box solutions to clients
• Dealing with any crisis situations with the utmost professionalism
• Overseeing all client account resourcing and timekeeping
• Relationship building and management of clients and agency partners
• Support, training and guidance to the other members of the team (from mid-level management to juniors)
• Proactively generating new business leads and being responsive to reactive leads
• Responsibility for RFP’s from start to finish
• Identifying new solutions with new and existing clients to cross sell other services across divisions
• Financial management of clients – ensuring invoices and third party suppliers are paid in a timely manner
• Leading by example in industry best practice
