
PRCO Group has been appointed to handle integrated communications for the launch of W Riyadh – KAFD, marking the debut of the W Hotels brand in Saudi Arabia. The appointment will see PRCO lead media relations and strategic communications across the GCC as the hotel prepares for its opening in 2026.
Located in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the development represents a significant entry point for W Hotels into the Kingdom, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader push to expand and diversify its luxury hospitality offering. The property is positioned as a flagship opening for the brand in the region, introducing W’s global identity through a combination of design-led spaces, service-led experiences and programming rooted in culture and lifestyle.
As part of the remit, PRCO Group will support the hotel through its pre-opening and launch phases, with responsibilities spanning strategic storytelling, brand positioning and executive profiling. The brief focuses on establishing cultural relevance for the brand locally, while introducing regional audiences to W’s refreshed global direction.
W Riyadh – KAFD is expected to blend expressive architecture and interiors with a strong emphasis on food, social spaces and wellness, reflecting the brand’s long-standing pillars of design, music and culture. The opening is also set against the backdrop of KAFD’s wider development as a mixed-use business and lifestyle destination, positioning the hotel within one of Riyadh’s most ambitious urban projects.
In the lead-up to the opening, PRCO will work closely with the W Riyadh – KAFD team to roll out communications around the hotel’s design narrative, dining concepts and curated programming, as well as broader brand milestones, as the property moves towards launch.
