CFI Financial Group names Omar Khaled as Chief Marketing Officer

As CMO, Khaled will lead CFI’s global marketing function, overseeing brand, digital, performance, and client communications strategies, as CFI continues to accelerate its international growth.

CFI Financial Group, a global leader in online trading, has appointed Omar Khaled as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), reinforcing its commitment to driving brand excellence, global growth and stronger client engagement.

As CMO, Khaled will lead CFI’s global marketing function, overseeing brand, digital, performance and client communications strategies, as CFI continues to accelerate its international growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Ziad Melhem, CEO of CFI Financial Group, said, “Omar has been instrumental in elevating our marketing capabilities and expanding our brand presence across key regions.”

Melhem added, “His leadership, creativity, and deep understanding of the trading and investing space make him an ideal fit to lead our global marketing efforts as we continue to scale. I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Omar for years, and I look forward to what we will achieve next.”

Khaled previously served as CFI’s Global Director of Marketing, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s international marketing strategy.

With more than 15 years of experience across fintech, trading, and digital-first sectors, he brings a data-driven and innovation-led approach to brand building and client growth.

In parallel, Leen Daoud, previously Head of Marketing – MENA, will take on the role of Global Head of Marketing.

Daoud will extend her leadership beyond the region to support the Group’s efforts across all markets. Leen has been a key contributor to CFI’s brand success in MENA and will continue to play a crucial role under Omar’s direction.

These leadership changes aim to further strengthen CFI’s global marketing engine, positioning the group to stay ahead in a fast-evolving  financial landscape.
