Zia Creative Network produces commercial for Chevrolet Arabia

Chevrolet Arabia teamed up with One11, the creative agency which hired Zia Creative Network to produce an interactive commercial that served as the centrepiece of the launch of Tahoe 2022. The concept was the brainchild of Nizar Malaeb, co-founder and CEO of One11 which was exceptionally executed by the production team led by Waseem Yakdi, executive producer of the commercial and CEO of ZIA creative network.

The gaming-style commercial was shot at XQuarry Off-Road & Adventure Park within the Mleiha desert. The vehicle roars to life in this commercial titled “Control the action with Tahoe.”

This commercial takes you on a virtual action-packed adventure journey where the viewer can actually experience the vehicle from the driver’s seat. Tahoe’s trailblazing capabilities got exposed through challenges like bike chases, crane-pulled boulders and several off-road obstacles to discover why this vehicle is called the Official “SUV of Action.” Splicing the desert scapes and billowing sandstorms, Tahoe ripped through legendary gravel roads, casting an air of intrigue and adventure in its wake.

The talented director Waleed Nassif directed the impeccable expertise of Zia’s production team to create high-octane driving sequences that showcase the full potential of Tahoe on any terrain. The result? An adrenaline-fueled film.

Besides the high-end equipment ranging from an 8k camera full frame from Red Ranger, numerous other props were used like a black arm gimble fixed on a quad, a moto-crane on a truck, quad bikes with their stunt drivers, a 5-tonne ball, trucks, over 100 drones, 3 Tahoe cars and a set of remarkable talents.

“The commercial was a big reveal, introducing the world to Chevrolet’s new game-changing vehicle, so we found a location where we could push Tahoe to its limits. Our extensive experience in high-end production and the right skillsets allow us to execute the most challenging projects in record time”, says Waseem Yakdi.

He further added that we camped on-site, immersing ourselves in the exhilarating landscape and translating that connection into the final cut of the commercial. Safely managing a crew of 40+ people, especially in such a gruelling terrain, was no easy task. But we stuck to the protocols, got it done, and everybody went home safely.
