VICE Media adds new associate creative directors to team

VICE Media Group has appointed two visionary experts to its creative team.

Germán D. Espitia Benavides joins as Associate Creative Director, bringing his distinctive blend of creativity, life experiences, and passion for storytelling to the team.

Following a successful 20-year career in football, he transitioned seamlessly into design, advertising, and the visual arts, quickly establishing himself in the industry. With over 13 years of experience at leading global agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, and Y&R, he has revitalized brands with his unique artistic vision.

VICE says Germán offers a rich, multicultural perspective in his new role. His innovative work has been celebrated at Cannes Lions, D&AD, and LIA, highlighting his dedication to pushing creative boundaries.

Additionally, Raul Palhares also joins as Associate Creative Director, boasting a career spanning two decades in global advertising.

Originating from Brazil, his professional journey has taken him through some of the world’s most prestigious creative and advertising agencies, including JWT, Leo Burnett Lisbon, MullenLowe Singapore, FP7 McCann-Erickson Dubai, and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners San Francisco.

Raul has led award-winning campaigns for iconic brands such as AB InBev, Unilever, Adobe, BMW, and McDonald’s. His work has garnered accolades from Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, and Spikes Asia.
