Ti22 Filmsan award-winning UAE production company, has been shortlisted at the prestigious New York Festivals TV and Film Awards 2026, marking a significant moment for the UAE’s creative industry on the global stage.

Recognised in the Corporate Image category under Branded Documentary, Ti22 Films earned the shortlist for its documentary celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ENTERTAINER – a homegrown brand that has become a regional success story.

Notably, the film is the only shortlisted entry from the UAE, underscoring the growing global recognition of the nation’s creative and production capabilities.

The documentary captures the ENTERTAINER’s evolution over the past 25 years, spotlighting the people, partnerships and purpose that have driven its success. Through a blend of authentic storytelling and cinematic production, the film reflects both the brand’s journey and the wider entrepreneurial spirit of the UAE.

“Celebrating 25 years of the ENTERTAINER is a huge milestone for us and something I’m incredibly proud of,” said Donna Benton, Founder & CEO, the ENTERTAINER.

Benton added, “Telling our story in a real and authentic way has made it even more meaningful. The Ti22 documentary, now nominated at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, captures not just the journey of the business, but the people, partnerships and passion behind it. Great collaborations are at the heart of everything we do, and this is a perfect example of that.”

Reim El Houni, CEO at Ti22 Films said, “Being shortlisted at an international level is always meaningful, but what matters most to us is what it represents. This is not our first global recognition, and continuing to win at this level is a clear testament to the standard of work we’re delivering from the UAE, work that genuinely competes and stands tall on the global stage. In a landscape where video production is becoming more accessible and AI is rapidly changing the game, maintaining this level of storytelling and craft is something we take great pride in.

El Houni added, “More importantly, it reflects our ability not just to show up internationally, but to consistently deliver work that helps elevate homegrown brands onto the global stage. This project with the ENTERTAINER is a strong example of what’s possible when that creative ambition and collaboration come together,”

The New York Festivals TV & Film Awards celebrate excellence in storytelling across global television and film, recognising content that informs, engages and inspires audiences worldwide. Winners are set to be announced later in 2026.

This latest recognition adds to Ti22 Films’ growing list of international accolades and reinforces its position as a leading creative force driving the UAE’s presence in the global media landscape.
