Spacetoon has set up two activations at the Qatar Grand Prix Village in partnership with Lusail International Circuit (LIC) in an effort to bring thrilling fan-experiences in the lead up towards the Formula 1 race weekend in Qatar.

The activations, running from November 7 to 30, are conveniently positioned across two prominent venues: Place Vendôme and West Walk.

These immersive activation corners are more than just pit stops; they’re a community-driven celebration of racing culture. Visitors are invited to explore the inner workings of Formula 1 cars and the technical marvels that fuel their speed and precision. With the thrill of cutting-edge technology and the timeless allure of motorsport, this initiative aims to unite fans of all ages in a shared passion for racing.

“We are so proud of this special collaboration with LIC, as a promotional pre-event for the Formula 1 races in Qatar,” shared Khaled Weiss, Project Manager of the event, “this initiative reflects a lot of unity and passion and we hope to bring more people closer together and build more momentum for the F1 races.”

Spacetoon claims its activations hope to ‘revolutionise the regional motorsport entertainment landscape and appeal to a wide range of young adults and tech enthusiasts—especially teenagers’. This aim stems from wanting to create tangibly memorable experiences with audiences, beyond the realm of content.

The activations include a Pit Stop VR, a Lego Racing Lusail Circuit and high-speed simulators that aim to promise thrills. Both Spacetoon activation zones will also display a Formula 1 car at different times to offer visitors an up-close and personal look at the racing machine.
