Rotana Hotels appoints Corporate Director of Brand Marketing

Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana Hotels has announced the appointment of Larisa Uskar as its newest Corporate Director of Brand Marketing.

Uskar brings along over a decade’s worth of extensive experience across global hotel brands such as Jumeirah, Fairmont, Raffles Hotels, Accor and IHG. She holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration and management from Les Roches.

In her new role, Uskar will be tasked with overseeing a comprehensive brand uplift and the development of an innovative marketing strategy at both a corporate and property level.

On the appointment, Barnes said: “Having Larisa join us at this pivotal time in Rotana’s journey is a major step forward. She brings a fresh, innovative thought process combined with a personal passion and drive that is critical to our future success”.

Uskar also commented on her new role. “I am excited to be part of this transformative journey at Rotana,” she said. She also went on to convey her initial plans for Rotana Hotels as part of her new appointment.

“My goal is to implement a refreshed, forward-thinking brand presence that reflects the excellence and innovation of our hotels across all markets,” Uskar said.

Rotana also added that as part of its ongoing commitment to women’s empowerment, Uskar will play a key role in fostering female leadership and creating opportunities for women to thrive in the hospitality industry.

The hospitality group claims her leadership will be crucial in positioning Rotana as a global leader within the industry, and hopes that she will set new benchmarks for the brand in luxury and service.
