People picks Tywan Ferreira as Head of Production in Abu Dhabi

Independent creative agency, People, is underpinning its global growth with the appointment of three new senior leaders across Abu Dhabi and London..

London and Abu Dhabi-based independent creative agency, People, has created three new leadership roles to propel its growth as it celebrates 10 years at the forefront of live events. 

Tywan Ferreira joins as Head of Production; Mitch Balintos joins as Head of Development; and Lewis Robbins joins as Creative Strategy Director.

Commenting on the appointments, Lucy Warden, Co-Founder and Managing Director at People, said, “As we celebrate a decade of People, we’re proud to be investing in the next chapter of our journey with these three exceptional leaders joining our team.”

Ferreira is based in Abu Dhabi where she oversees People’s live projects. She brings creativity and delivery closer together, ensuring every production runs smoothly and to the highest standard.

Before joining People, Ferreira spent 17 years at ad agency, Cheil, where she held a range of senior production roles. 

Balintos is based in London and will help shape the future of People by engaging clients and brands and connecting People’s creative vision with its strategic growth.

With more than 20 years of experience, Mitch has worked with creative firms and global organisations to bring bold ideas to life — from creative and marketing roles in fashion and specialty retail spaces, to most recently serving as General Manager of transformation consultancy, SYPartners Middle East.

Robbins is also based in London where he will oversee the creative strategic approach on all projects and lead the wider strategy team.

He joins from a similar role at creative agency, Proud Robinson + Partners and prior to that he completed seven+ years at Jack Morton Worldwide.  

People was established in 2015 by a group of seven close friends and now boasts a team of 48 with an enviable reputation for creating groundbreaking live event experiences across the world. 

Over the last decade, People has grown into a family of creative brands which also include Spaces+Places, specialists in experience-led, temporary structures; Spectaculars, which creates, produces and invests in spectacular ceremonies and shows; and FILM x People, a newly-launched film production company.

The agency has been quietly making an impact through phenomenal live events having worked with a range of different clients – from small brands delivering unique customer-led events, to COP28 pavilions and Olympic Opening Ceremonies.
