Mobily have become the first Telecommunication Company in the Middle East and Africa to launch a shopping page on Instagram, supported by media partner Initiative.
In an innovative move from a company known to strive for seamless connectivity with their customer base, the new page will allow customers to purchase everything from mobile subscriptions to the latest devices and accessories, all from their social feeds.
Within the context of a generation of young Saudis about to enter the workforce and considering the prominence that social media plays in their everyday life alongside wider reforms in Saudi society, e-commerce adds to the changing market dynamic that brands such as Mobily have to navigate.
As the channel continues to show strong growth in Saudi Arabia, advertisers are being forced to leverage these new ways to engage and transact with their customers.

The launch forms part of wider efforts by Mobily to digitise the business, coinciding with the 2019 launch of their e-Commerce platform, the Mobily E-Shop.
