Memac Ogilvy reveals bevy of directorial appointments

The appointments reflect the growth that Memac Ogilvy's PR business has witnessed in the UAE over the past 12 months.

Memac Ogilvy – under the WPP umbrella and part of the Ogilvy Worldwide network – has revealed its recent directorial appointments in the Middle East following a conversation with Campaign Middle East.

Yasser Hamdy, Rajeev Nair, Nancy Fahim, Chantelle Burchett, and Shady Fekry, have all taken up senior positions within Memac Ogilvy, aligning with the growth that the organisation’s PR business has witnessed in the UAE over the past 12 months.

Yasser Hamdy joins as business director – PR UAE, marking his fourth market with Ogilvy after stints across Doha, Cairo, and Riyadh gaining expertise in strategic communications, crisis communications, and brand reputation management.

Hamdy said, “Each market has offered unique challenges and opportunities, and I am eager to bring my insights and expertise to the dynamic landscape of Dubai. Rajeev Nair takes the mantle of senior director of Strategy & Content – PR, UAE, and brings close to 18 years of PR experience to the role.

Nancy Fahim, who claims the role of group account director – PR, UAE, said, “At the heart of Ogilvy’s mission is people. Chantelle Burchett, who joins as the influence account director – PR, UAE from Ogilvy’s London HQ, told Campaign Middle East that she is passionate about empowering brands to unlock the full potential of influence, fostering authentic and inclusive creator relationships to drive tangible results and maximise impact.
