RECMA, the independent research company that reports and tracks the performance of media agencies around the globe, has just published its February 2021 Qualitative report, placing Mediabrands first among media agency groups across the MENA region.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Mediabrands takes the top spot, and with this edition earning 50 per cent of the total points scored in the category. The semi-annual Qualitative Report, which functions as a reference for excellence, also shows Mediabrands agencies UM, Magna and Initiative, ranking 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, owing to a strong performance on competitive pitch wins, momentum, team structure and agency capabilities. The report also crowned media agency UM to be the only “dominant profile” agency in MENA, and placed number 2 globally across 47 countries.

The latest report was released in February 2021, evaluating a total of 17 agencies across 6 media agency groups. The MENA report covers 14 countries and is a worldwide audit of media agency performances and competences based on 18 criteria over a 3-year period.
