The grand prix winner at this year’s Gemas Effies was Interesting Times Beirut for its ‘Courage is Contagious’ campaign for Snowball SAL’s Lebanese Brew. The campaign utilised music video, social media, direct marketing and on-ground activity to raise awareness of the new beer, targeting the country’s youth. As part of the campaign, the agency teamed up with one of Beirut’s prominent music producers to create a virtual band, which released the music video above.
