Christian Khoury has taken over as executive creative director of Horizon Draftfcb following the departure of Guilherme Rangel in June.
Khoury, who was previously with Drive Dentsu, will now head up Horizon Draftfcb’s operations in Dubai and the neighbouring Gulf states. He has been tasked with working across multiple disciplines and expanding the agency’s client portfolio.
Mazen Jawad, managing director of Horizon Draftfcb, said: “Christian is a creative talent with exceptional pedigree and will be a massive asset not just for the Dubai office, but the network as a whole as he drives creative output within our new agency strategy. His creative philosophy and ours combined with an inspiring planning team and an agile, flexible surrounding structure will drive Horizon Draftfcb Dubai and its clients to new growth levels.”
Khoury has 16 years of industry experience and had been at Drive Dentsu since June last year. Prior to that he briefly held the position of executive creative director at JWT Dubai and was a creative director at Leo Burnett. As reported in the previous issue of Campaign, Drive Dentsu replaced Khoury with Hisham Kharma.
