PR agency Katch has expanded its team to support the activities. In addition to onboarding a new team of up to 7 including onboarding Huda Ismail as the new engagement director.
Armed with more than 18 years of experience, Huda Ismail joined the Katch team in January 2022. As a senior communications and thought leadership specialist, Huda has worked in both, the client as well as the agency side. Huda’s last assignment was in the capacity of strategic communications specialist in MBC Group, MENA’s largest media company and prior to that served as group account director at APCO Worldwide, a global communication consultancy. On the client-side with UAE’s privately-owned Bank, Mashreq, Huda spent nine years leading the PR and Communications team across the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait & Egypt. Previous to that, Ismail has worked in a PR agency for six years, where she handled a variety of clients, including retail, oil &
gas, automotive, cosmetics, technology, banking, and entertainment business.
In addition to Ismail’s appointment, Dhara Bhatia has been promoted to senior account manager for the dedication and efforts displayed towards the clients as well as Katch. Dhara has been with Katch since 2019 and she has a growing hospitality portfolio under her belt.
