Two of Jumeirah’s senior marketing and communications executives are to leave the company.
The Dubai-based hotel chain will be saying goodbye to Ross McAuley, group vice president of brand marketing, digital and loyalty.
McAuley, who led the launch of Google’s ‘Jumeirah Inside’ and the re-launch of global loyalty programme Jumeirah Sirius, will move on to head up marketing at GEMS Education in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Piers Schreiber, who has acted as group vice president of corporate communications and public affairs for seven years, is to return to the UK to set up a specialist consultancy with clients in the United Arab Emirates and Europe.
Alison Broadhead, chief commercial officer at Jumeirah, said: “We are naturally sad to see Ross and Piers move on, but are grateful to their tremendous contribution to the reputation and brand presence that Jumeirah Group enjoys internationally.
“On behalf of Jumeirah, I thank them for their long and loyal service and wish them every success in their future careers.”
